David Beckham's Armani campaign is causing a stir among London fans, WWD reports.
Selfridges has reported a 50 percent leap in sales of Armani white men's briefs after the British press reported Beckham would be the new face, of Emporio Armani underwear.
Sales of the entire Emporio Armani underwear line rose on average by 30 percent across the range, the store said. "David Beckham is a global style icon, appealing equally to men and women. Where he goes, fashion is bound to follow," said David Walker-Smith, menswear director at Selfridges. The briefs retail for £16, or $32.
