KARL LAGERFELD will put a collection of photographs, vases, and furniture up for sale on December 18. Entitled European 20th Century Greek Revival, the collection has been curated by Pierre Passebon and will be showcased at his Delorenzo Gallery on New York's Madison Avenue until March 15, FASHIONWEEKDAILY.COM reports.
"The mythology of ancient Greece has fascinated us for centuries, and for centuries there have been constant revivals of the Greek world in the evolution of tastes and styles," Lagerfeld tells Vogue UK of his interest in the period. "It represents the idea of a moment of perfection in the history of mankind."
