Videofashion Network is excited to announce that menswear designer John Bartlett, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, Glamour magazine’s Executive Fashion Editor at Large Suze Yalof Schwartz, male supermodel Chad White, designer Tinsley Mortimer and Elle magazine’s Creative Director Joe Zee have all signed on to serve as hosts-of-the-day on Videofashion Daily during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. John, Christian, Suze, Chad, Tinsley and Joe will be joined by other notable editors, designers, models, celebrities and fashion insiders to introduce Videofashion Daily’s in-depth coverage during fashion’s most exciting week! NYC TV viewers will enjoy full coverage of the New York Spring/Summer 2010 designer collections on Videofashion Daily, which will premiere on NYC TV Sunday, September 13 through Thursday, September 17 at 10 pm and will air Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19 with complete New York Fashion Week coverage.
“We at Videofashion are very pleased to introduce the host-of-the-day concept. We have established some wonderful relationships in the fashion industry over the last 33 years, and we are grateful for their enthusiastic support as hosts for Videofashion Daily,” says Marlene Cardin, Videofashion President and CEO.
Acting President of NYC Media Group Katherine Oliver comments, “We are pleased to be working with Videofashion again this fashion season, making NYC TV the premiere destination for viewing the designer collections you might have missed at Bryant Park.”
With a successful namesake menswear line and a new collection, “Claiborne by John Bartlett,” debuting during Fashion Week, Liz Claiborne’s menswear Creative Director John Bartlett is a busy guy! Videofashion Daily is elated that this Harvard and FIT grad has made time in his demanding schedule to serve as our host-of-the-day this September.
Christian Siriano became the youngest winner of Project Runway when he claimed the title in 2008. After two successful showings of his eponymous line at New York Fashion Week, Christian returns to the tents again this fall to debut his Spring/Summer 2010 collection, and to bring some fierce flavor to Videofashion Daily!
Glamour magazine’s Suze Yalof Schwartz is an expert voice in the media for fashion makeovers, well-known for her work on Glamour’s trademark “Dos & Don’ts” and her appearances for Glamour on several national media programs. After serving as Videofashion Daily’s host last season, Videofashion is thrilled to have Suze behind the scenes for us once again this fall.
You’ll recognize host-of-the-day Chad White from his runway appearances for Nautica, DSquared2, Perry Ellis and Baby Phat and from his eye-catching campaign for Dolce & Gabbana. The Portland native will bring a model’s unique perspective to our Videofashion Daily coverage.
Manhattan “it-girl” and designer Tinsley Mortimer will take a break from the runway’s coveted front row just long enough to host Videofashion Daily! With style savvy to match her social status, we look forward to Tinsley’s uptown insider’s view at the downtown tents.
As Creative Director for Elle magazine, Joe Zee is the go-to guy for what’s chic this season! After playing himself on ABC’s Ugly Betty and appearing as a judge on the CW reality show Stylista, we are thrilled to have Joe gracing our program series and bringing his style expertise to Videofashion Daily.
Videofashion Daily will deliver comprehensive and rapid coverage of major New York fashion shows in the tents at Bryant Park, at Milk Studios, and at other out-of-tent New York Fashion Week venues. In addition to interviews with designers, fashion editors, makeup artists, hairstylists, models, and other celebrities, Videofashion Daily will feature background segments such as designer video biographies, backstage beauty scenes, flashbacks, and model profiles from the largest fashion video archive in the world, the 33 year-old Videofashion Library.
For fashion all year-round, tune in to NYC TV every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST to watch more Videofashion Daily programs from New York, London, Milan and Paris and to see other Videofashion series such as Videofashion News and Designer Marathon.
