Ari Marcopoulos photographer and film artist began his career in New York City assisting Andy Warhol. Ari transplants himself into the intimate lives of people living on the edge. Artists, snowboarders, musicians, and skateboarders have been both muses and commercial subject-matter throughout his quarter century career as a photographer. His stunning landscapes and playful portraiture offer a dramatic take on every day life, and a glimpse into all things awe-some.

‘Any Old Iron’ is a new music inspired menswear shop on the Lower East Side

The first retail store of its kind to hit Manhattan, Any Old Iron will specialize in selling rare and UK-specific menswear. The majority of the collections featured are exclusive to Any Old Iron and include labels such as Sir Tom Baker’s rock and roll suiting, Bolongaro Trevor’s mod inspired menswear and Child of the Jago from collaborative designers Barnzley and Joe Corre (Son of Vivienne Westwood), Red Mutha and Electronic Poet. The shop will also sell contemporary labels as Fred Perry, Raf Simons x Fred Perry, Unconditional, London Undercover and S***R shoes.

Amy Winehouse has partnered with Fred Perry for a capsule clothing collection to launch in October. Richard Martin, Fred Perry’s marketing direction says, “[Winehouse] has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points”.
